Victorien Liria, known by his artist name Maye, was born in Sète, France in 1990. From a young age, Maye was passionate about drawing, and began experimenting with graffiti in Montpellier in 2004. He was influenced by the local scene and continued to develop his skills and find his place among his peers. Maye’s determination and talent allowed him to quickly improve, and he became known for his unique lettering style.

In 2013, Maye began to transition from working on walls to working on canvas. Painting on canvas allowed him to experiment with different techniques and materials, and to create more lasting works of art. Maye’s paintings often depict allegorical scenes inspired by his personal experiences, memories, and imagination. He is known for his attention to detail and his ability to create landscapes that combine technology and nature in thought-provoking ways.
